If you are following me on Twitter, you’d know that I have been gushing and fangirling about the fact that Ian Somerhalder (@iansomerhalder), of the Vampire Diaries (Damon Salvatore), is the new endorser of a local clothing brand here in the Philippines (@PENSHOPPE). I remembered tweeting Nathaniel Buzolic (@natebuzz) – the guy who plays Kol in TVD – asking him when he’d visit PH since he was in Australia that time. Then I came to think how Ian or Paul or him can visit PH. As I thought about it, it felt like it was an impossible dream. Unless they’re musicians, haha. Or they decide to take a vacation here in our wonderful beaches.

And then, one day, lo and behold, Ian tweeted this:

The fangirl in me rejoiced and jumped for joy. My mama kept asking what was wrong with me and I told her that my ultimate crush and *dreamguy* is coming to town. She looked at me weirdly and laughed, told me I was crazy. I told her I’d come and meet him personally and she practically teased about how I can’t go because they will definitely schedule it on a FREAKING WEEKDAY. I laughed it off but I got paranoid. WHAT IF MAMA WAS CORRECT?! D;

And so I monitored Twitterverse for any updates regarding Ian’s visit. I learned about his upcoming guesting on the Philippine Fashion Week. Rumors has it that he’ll be part of the Penshoppe fashion show! I don’t have money but I can’t miss this. Good thing that they have ticket promo wherein you have to buy PHP1.5k worth of stuff from their store and then you’ll get a General Admission ticket for the show. I was up for it! Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to come with me. :s

I also stumbled upon a news that there will be press conference for him on the 23rd. But the sad fact is that you’ll have to buy PHP3k worth of Penshoppe stuff and then you get to be one of the 60 fans who will be part of the audience. What sucks is that this does not grant you a meet and greet opportunity. I was inclined to get this thingamajig despite its sucky condition but the fact that it will be held on a weekday (OKAY, MAMA.. YOU’RE RIGHT), I opted to the Philippine Fashion Week opportunity just because it’s on a Saturday. :3

But I do not have someone to come with me. T.T I was ready to give up my little ‘dream’ until… I read Kei’s tweet. *w *Good thing, my co-fangirl for the love of Ian, Kei – agreed to come with me. We’re both going on Saturday and we’ll be cheering for our boy!

So after my shift, I went straight ahead to Megamall to buy the stuff I needed to get the free ticket. There were so many people already, lining up at the cashier! Oh gosh, some girls just literally grabbed the clothes without trying them on and lined up immediately. As for me, I had to ask the store manager if there was enough ticket for the fashion show. He gave me a positive answer so I took my time and really shopped for my clothes. I also bought some shirts for the boyfriend (and he was happy with it, hoho~)!

Ian arrived last night and I really wish I was one of those girls who welcomed him upon his arrival. :s Too bad I wasn’t so I just relied on Twitter for the updates. I totally envied a local reporter here who got to have a photo opt and interview with Ian! D; He’s sweet, he even wrapped his arm around the reporter. All the more reason to get envious!
