I can’t help but blog about work-related stuff sometimes. I apologize if it bores you out and if you can’t relate on some. :-X

We’re currently studying on embedding SQL commands and using DB2 stuff on our COBOL programs. Sheesh. Good thing, I’m not that new to SQL but then…. data handling with DB2 must be explored (and learned, damn it). :-| Three more days and we’ll know our judgment for the first phase. Good luck, Batch 8! *u*

I hope I can make it through this probationary period. Five more months. *fingers.crossed*

I miss watching cooking shows. I love cooking shows. Whenever I watch them, I feel inspired to cook or make something. Seriously. Haha. It’s just that the ingredients are sometimes hard to find or expensive or I do not have the equipments to do it (mixer, oven, etc). :-S

Well, I tried making creamy Carbonara with the help of my sister last June during my sister’s birthday. My mother entrusted us with the things to do in order to cook it. My sister and I went to the grocery to buy the ingredients and it sucked because the grocery near our place didn’t have all the ingredients that we needed so we bought the remaining stuff on the market near our place. :)

We used this recipe as a guide for the creamy Carbonara. We just modified it and adjusted it with the help of our mother (she cooks really well so she knows how to adjust), haha. The verdict? Well they all liked it, even my dad had some and gave us thumbs up for it. Hee. ^^

Oh my gosh, yum! I love Italian food and pasta, but I don’t think I’ve had proper carbonara. I have a friend with the last name Carbonari, it’s pretty funny. I’m glad the dish turned out lovely though! :D

I don’t watch many cooking shows. I can’t cook very well – I can’t cook anything proper. D: I haven’t really bothered learning or being interested in it so much but when there’s an opportunity I do like cooking. We’ve got everything we need at home and my mum’s a good cook – it’s just me. XD

SQL sounds interesting and I actually want to learn more about it, but it’s pretty difficult and a big step for me! Good luck!

Your story reminds me of this man who was having trouble with the ticket machine, and in the end he left without his change because he was just that pissed off. The man behind him took it for himself, what a greedy poo. :P

SQL is the devil. I hate it. Good luck with that.
OMG Carbonara is like one of my favourite foods. I tend to eat it with some meat and vegies to. Yumm, now I want some ;-)

Yummmy….I feel like I wish I was there. I love carbonara and it’s been a long time since I eaten some. I’ll ask my mom to do some>:D

Wow, good luck with the SQL lessons. I’ve wanted to learn it myself but I just don’t have the time to do it.

I never tried Carbonara. My experience with Italian food only revolves around pizza, spaghetti and lasagna. I’ve seen people eating carbonara before, but I never got around to trying it myself. But congrats on the successful cooking. Perhaps you ought to take a picture of it next time and show it to us? :lick:
