It sucks that we do not have a summer getaway planned with the family. My Papa’s busy, I’m busy, we’re saving up for my brother’s tuition fee on June (he’ll be an upcoming junior HS student) and we’re going to build a new PC. Yep, you’ve read it right. Our dear Fortress decided to ‘die’ on us. We haven’t sent her yet to a PC specialist/repair center to know why she’s not booting anymore. We’re planning to send her on June and get her stuff upgraded. I seriously want a gaming build but given that my brother will always have more time to use the PC, this might trigger him to not leave the PC anymore hahaha. Fortress has been with us for almost 5-7years, I think. I just hope the upgrade won’t cost us so much. OTL

Due to that upgrade, I have to hold saving up for my DSLR. It’s okay because I haven’t really decided yet what to buy. I don’t want a super bulky camera. Just a nice DSLR that can take really decent photos. I guess I have a lot of time to think about it now, yeah?

I have been resisting the temptation to buy some nendoroids. I am sucker for cute stuff and they’re just too cute that I want one for myself. I have been browsing a figure shop (Onegai Oniichan) in Facebook and it’s just awesome how cute they are! I am sucker for anything chibi. They’re too damn cute!!! I am envious on people that can collect them. Seriously, where do you get all the money! Dx

You all know how much I love Paramore. They are my jam. I loved them ever since I heard “My Heart” and that was ages ago. My heart was literally in pieces when they first came here and I wasn’t able to come. I have always waited for them to come back and play again – and then came December 2012, the ultimate announcement that they will officially be back in Manila! When the tickets were already on sale, I made an account immediately and bought while I was inside the LRT train going home. Haha, crazy right? I’m just happy that my network provider did not fail me then.

I am just happy that I got to share this momentous event with my co-”Parawhore” close friend. We were singing and dancing and having lots of fun. We love Paramore so much!!! I even cried when they sang their first song, “Now”. I just felt so happy that I got so emotional. ;_;

We had seats but we did not mind it and we went to the moshpit! I loved how we were so near Paramore. I saw Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor. They were all so gorgeous and the fangirl in me couldn’t contain the happy hormones that I was feeling! I just sang my heart out to every song that they were playing. Before, I would just hear them through my music player and YouTube videos – but then, I was hearing them play my favorite songs LIVE! I was jumping. I was shouting. I was singing. I didn’t care.

During the last song in their set, they got to invite a fan to sing with Hayley. OMG! I was like shouting “YOU SHOULD PICK ME OKAY!” but they didn’t. Guess I should’ve worn that Ramones shirt that the chosen girl was wearing, hahaha. Envious much BUT as a fellow fan, I am so happy for her. She can now cross out one item from her bucket list, I am sure! :3

My only regret was that I didn’t have a decent camera that time. I didn’t have decent shots that night. My phone’s zoom couldn’t zoom much, haha. They looked so tiny! Dx

In other news, I was sick the other day. I had to take a day off and rest. I wasn’t really super sick but I just think that I needed that rest last Thursday so I informed my leads that I won’t go to work. I have been really stressed with work lately. Specifically because of this one ticket that I am handling. Whenever I think about it, I want to cry! I am pressured to already finish it because it will be almost a year since it had been raised. Right now, I am taking it as a challenge to close it but it’s really taking its toll on me. I am already on the “testing phase” of the fix so I am hoping it will all go well and I trap all the possible issues that may occur with my solution. I am just glad that I have my cheerful close friends at the office. They are awesome! Even if we are swamped with work, we still manage to find joy and craziness in all that we do.

Did I just work!rant? I am sorry. I guess I just had to let that out of the box. Dx

Anyway, today is Otakuzine at Megamall and it sucks that I won’t be able to join the event today and on Sunday. Aside from the fact that I don’t have any money left (payday please come sooner~), I have to also rest and recharge for the week to come. Whoa! I will be missing all the fun. I know!!! I attended the event last year and I was inspired to join a Japanese singing contest. But unfortunately, until now – I haven’t joined one yet. I was thinking of singing Houkiboshi (Younha), 1000 Words (Koda Kumi), or ~S.O.W~ (Idoling!!!). I guess I have to build my confidence first, no? I practice once in a while but my siblings would tell me that it’s off-key, hahaha. I don’t believe them!

Sucks that I gained weight again. I lose some of ‘em last 2012 but gained it again at the last quarter. I have a really bad habit of stress eating and it caught up with me again. TwT Hence, the only resolution I made up for 2013 is to be fit! Good luck to me. </3

As much as I want to be fit, I haven’t enrolled in a gym yet. I tried signing up for a free trial at 360 Fit Club (Circuit Training) but I didn’t show up for two times. I actually feel bad about it and I am so sorry. I got caught up with something so yeah – I hope they won’t ban/blacklist me for that. I will try signing up again soon, in another branch – I guess haha! What I am actually looking forward to is signing up to a boxing class at Elorde Gym. My close friends at work also want to try boxing too but we’re all caught up with work right now. Hmm, I just have to fix my schedule (I hope I can!) and sign up at a branch in Vito Cruz soon. Oh well, fitness plans. I shall accomplish you this year! *crosses fingers*

I welcomed my birth month with a very, very busy work schedule. This is due to me being promoted to the next level. My workload and responsibilities doubled, even tripled as the weeks passed. Being promoted is one of the most awesome ‘gifts’ I have received. I feel so blessed. Usually, it takes a year and a half, or more than two years to get in my position – but I am thankful that I was able to reach this position after only a year. I know it is both a blessing and a curse (due to so much work demands) – but right now, I want to cherish it as a blessing.

So when I woke up this morning, I reached for my phone and saw birthday greeting from my friends and loved ones. I thank them for reminding me that today is my birthday. Actually, I was even surprised because what filled my mind that morning was work but then I realized I was on leave today, haha. Workaholic much? Not really. Or maybe, I am.

I am just glad that Mama decided to do the malling yesterday at the SM Mall of Asia. I was looking on doing it today but she was right that we do it on a Sunday because we were complete that day. They finally agreed on having a massage! I have been pushing them to go on a massage for some time now. It was my treat to them but Papa’s schedule was so hectic too that we didn’t have time to go out. But finally – yesterday was just terrific! :3 They had Balinese massage on Body Tune. I love the smell/aroma on that area. I wonder if all massage centers smell like that. Haha!

While the ‘rents were having a massage, my siblings and I roamed around. We went to watch some Ice Skating practice, see the toys that were on sale and played some games in the arcade! I tried Technika and boy, I was an epic fail. Haha! I guess I need to ‘research’ some more on how they are played. I know I totally suck on those type of games (music games) but who cares!

Today, Mama cooked my favorite dishes – menudo and carbonara. She also whipped a yummy fruit salad for dessert. Thanks, Mama! ♥

I am glad that my boss suggested that I also take a day off tomorrow using the work hours I burned last Sunday and for the OT hours I accumulated last week. Whew! Tomorrow is another rest day for me, I guess. I am going to take advantage of it by painting my nails! It’s been ages since I last painted my nails. Did you know that I kind of feel relieved and happy when I do my nails? I think that it is some kind of a therapeutic activity for me. I even bought new nail polish last week, hoho. Now I have to think if it’s going to be blue, orange or green.

Right now, I am using my phone as a wifi hotspot. Our DSL modem died on us some week ago and it took our wifi router with it. Well, the wifi router is not broken, it is just so messed up that it’s good as ‘dead’ because I forgot its router details, hence I can’t log into it. We tried resetting it but it was such a fail and it does not accept the default password. Its installer is missing. What a way to ‘die’, no? D; We managed to replace the DSL modem by buying a not-so nice unit. It’s because I am thinking of upgrading our current plan to a higher speed plan so I can make use of the modem+wifi router unit that comes along with it. Teehee! :3

Or.. maybe I should just a buy a new broadband stick for my laptop. :/

Anyway, only a few more hours before my special day ends. I want to thank everyone who have been a part of my life for the past 22 years. I hope you will still continue to stick and hang around. Thanks for being patient and understanding with all my weirdness and wackiness. I love you all!

To the people who have hurt and caused me pain, I sincerely thank each one of you for letting me feel pain and negativity. I wouldn’t become stronger and wiser (hehe) if it weren’t for you, guys! From all the negativity, I have always learned something. :3

Remember the pup we found one rainy night? Here she is. We named her Rere and it’s been almost two months since we found her. She’s moody but she’s really sweet. Such a baby. ♥

Anyway, I’ll only be back tomorrow to get the work laptop because I will be working from home this week. Heh, the little perks of being the primary point of contact for any issues this week. I will be really physically back in the office come next week. I dread it you know! Just kidding~ I already feel guilty that most of my tasks have been transitioned to my partner in work. I am so grateful that she’s really nice. I will do my best to make it up to her! :3

The rainy season is really here. It has been raining really hard since Saturday. It sucks because my siblings and I had to cancel our supposed-to-be movie date (and even my derma trip!). We thought that it would push through this morning – but lo and behold, the weather decides to spoil it. Great work huh? Now I have to really wish that there will be no major spoilers for The Dark Knight Rises. Should there be any, then prepare to face my wrath! I have heard really good feedback from the people who have already watched it. Can’t wait to see you, Mr. Wayne.

I remembered the theater shooting that took place in Colorado during the Batman premiere. Really horrible. I really feel sad for the people who got killed and who got injured. The crazy mofo who decided to do the shooting thinks he is THE JOKER. What a crazy, heartless guy! My prayers and thoughts go to the families of the victims.

This morning, we decided to do a sort of general cleaning in my room. This portion of my room contained school stuff that dates back to who knows when. My sister and I decided to sort these stuff and keep what was still useable. It was fun because I got to rediscover the envelope where I kept all my high school retreat letters! I also saw some magazines that I thought I have already lost. I even saw my college graduation toga, haha! To make the long story short, we were successful in cleaning it! It was rewarding to see that from the huge pile it used to be, it is now a manageable pile. I believe I can now find what I am looking for. Hurray!

I hope it won’t rain that much tomorrow. It’s difficult to commute when it is raining so hard.

First and foremost, I welcomed July with a new stuff. I got approved for my phone plan and I received the handset last July 3rd. My new ‘baby’ is a Samsung Galaxy S3 in Marble White. Well, it was supposed to be in Pebble Blue but I do not know why they delivered a Marble White. But oh well, the phone was also beautiful in white. :3 That day, I bid farewell to my savings.

Oh, I named her – Sapphire.

Last week was one hell of a week. What is up with you, July? Trying to torture me early, huh? My work load slash work responsibility doubled up due to the project’s revamp. Honestly, I am feeling both thrilled and nervous. Thrilled – because I am up for this new role and also, I want to take this as a challenge on my career. Nervous – because I do not know if I can live up to my expectations, to their expectations and fulfill what I need to do. But nonetheless, I hope that I won’t burn myself out with what I am doing. I tend to overwork myself at times, you know.

Right now, I still can say that I am happy with my work. I hope this attitude continues, no?

Mom celebrated her birthday last July 12th. She cooked her super delicious menudo and carbonara. Happy tummy!

Also, did you know that before June ended – we had a new dog? We named her Rere. Well, my Mom and my brother found her in front of our house while it was raining so hard that night. She had a wound around her neck and she was soaking wet and dirty. She went inside our house when my Dad left for work. They fed her that night and let her sleep downstairs. Then the next morning, my Mom went around our street to ask our neighbors if they lost a dog. No one from our neighborhood claimed the dog. They said that the dog might have been lost and was from a different street.

We waited for a week for her owner to claim her but no one came. While we were waiting, my Mom and brother fed her, cleaned her and tended her neck wounds. It’s almost a month now since we found her and I can say that she has improved a lot! She eats a lot and she likes it when she’s being talked to or when her tummy is being stroked or her back is being rubbed. Such a cutie.

Today is Day 4 of my Ultimate Recharge week. Haha. I dubbed my 5-day vacation leave as my “Ultimate Recharge” week. I mostly bummed in our house and somewhat pampered myself in a salon a couple of days ago (haircut, foot spa, mani/pedi). I believe I totally deserved this rest. I was still hesitant to take this ‘forced’ leave because I had too much leaves that I wasn’t using as I was saving it for the holidays – but nah, I think I have made the right decision to take it. We all do need a little rest once in our busy lives, hah!

Now I am kind of sad – sort of, really – that this week is coming to an end. It’s already Friday tomorrow. *sobs* I haven’t opened my work email since Monday and I am so scared to open it come Monday, hahahaha.

Next week, I will be working from home! Six hours per day – I hope there will be NO major fails in our batch. Wishmeluckplease. D:

I think yesterday (or the other day, hmm) we completed watching Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Isn’t it obvious we’re getting ready for the The Dark Knight Rises?

Because of this stupid toothache, I missed this year’s ToyCon. I admit that I am kind of envious to the people who went — especially to my guy friend who went for the second and third day! There were interesting stuff that I might have missed. Oh crap! :/

Also, it was supposed to be my college buds’ “sort of reunion” – so I felt bad I had to bail out at the last moment. I hope there will still be events or conventions that would take place in the months to come! I miss them~ Our conflicting schedules and our busy lives made it impossible for us to meet like before so only events like this could bring us together again. D;

On the other hand, I managed to finish Game of Thrones Season 2. Such an accomplishment, I know!!! It’s kind of sad that I have to wait for next year – April (I think) for the next season! But I am thankful because I can now have enough time to complete the first and second books — and to even begin the third book! Hah, so ambitious. *fingers.crossed*

It’s the start of the rainy season here. I am loving the coldness the rain brings but I still hate it when it rains and I am about to travel to work. I don’t want to come to the office wet, you know. -_- So I hope it rains when I am already inside my home, haha.

Anyway, I am kind of annoyed that my wifi connection disconnects after some time. It’s kind of weird, really. I thought it’s my wifi modem’s problem but it’s not. I tried connecting using my phone and I could get through. There might be something wrong with my laptop’s wifi adapter. Poor Daenarys, you’re only 6 months old. If this continues, I am afraid I might have to send this baby for repair. :/

Also – I tried applying for a new phone plan to get the Samsung Galaxy S3. I hope they’d be nice and approve it. But if not, it’s okay. ;P I still like my LG Optimus One though its a bit laggy now.

Yesterday, we celebrated my sister’s 21st birthday. We know she’s busy with her NLE review so my Mama cooked a super delicious menudo for her. In the afternoon, she came home with a lot of goodies – brownies and a Black Forest cake! I wasn’t able to take some photos of the awesome food because we devoured them immediately. They were still some left but they ain’t pretty enough anymore for the camera. So sorry!

Last Friday, I was bugging a friend because I told him that I wanted to close this blog. So sudden right? Well, I Google-d my self last Thursday night using some bits of my information ( (a.k.a my personal Gmail address) just for the heck of it. Unfortunately, I found bits of them producing Google-able clues that point here to my domain. HOW CAN I BE SO CARELESS ABOUT MY FUKKEN INFO, RIGHT? Why did I not hide it when I signed up for fanlistings and cliques!!! Now this sanctuary might not be as private as I thought it was before. /sadface

So I was ranting to him over and over saying what if an offline friend/acquaintance tried to Google me just out of curiosity? Just to know some juicy information about me? Le horror! But he said “Man, it’s the internet. Nothing is PRIVATE!” and it kind of slapped me in my right cheek, or left, maybe (I already forgot, ‘kay). How stupid and naive of me to think I can keep this blog pure! But meh, I still blame my carelessness back then.

Unfortunately, what’s done is done (yet again!!!).

I know you might be raising an eyebrow right now about this nonsense paranoia that is consuming me. Yup, I have issues. I am not really that comfortable of having some offline people discover and read my blog. Especially since I blog (sometimes) about work, ha ha ha. And also, as much as a blog never meant ‘forever private‘ – I still want it to be that way or think of it that way.

So, in the end – I decided not to close this domain. My really good friend advised to leave a note that says “Whatever you see/read here, leave it here”. I might put it there soon, haha! So nosy people, go away – shooo! There’s not much drama here that is worth your time. Away with all your gossips and tripping!

Also, the big factor that affected my decision to not move is that I have already became attached to this domain. *cries* So as long I have moolah, this site shall live on. Yay!
